1. This time for Tim of Transit/Misser’s new band Off & On. This was done in a jiffy and was super fun.

Here’s a shot of Mount Fuji taken on Fujifilm Velvia 100 that I bought in Tokyo. How very Japan.

Having this be what surrounded my apartment for five months was quite nice.

Over the five months I lived in Sydney I somehow found myself at Bondi or Coogee at least once a week, sipping on a lime Solo and watching dudes murder the bowl or the swells. Currently missing that life as I try to stay warm in Boston.

Decided to finally send out some rolls of 35mm film from my time traveling and working in Australia and Japan. I seriously love Japan and its people and can’t wait to step off the plane there again soon. I think the x-rays at airport security caused a little bit of fogging with these pictures but it adds a nice touch.

  9. Jorge. New Hampshire, USA. 2012.

A #tbt image from when I hiked a few beautiful mountains with some of my best friends. Glad I got to show Jorge, a native of Mexico City, some true blue American wilderness.

Really stoked that he’s now killing it in LA working for Emmanuel Lubezki and HBO.

I was hired to shoot a wedding down in New York City, and before the big day, I decided to take a few hours to explore.

  11. I’m really excited to have worked in post-production on this new music video from Sydney, Australia’s Endless Heights. This video was premiered on Channel [V] Australia (Fox Television) and was broadcast to the entire nation of Australia and parts of Asia. I am super proud to have taken part in this and to have my work globally published, and also super stoked for my friends in this band. Go check out these guys and the filmmakers I worked with.

Lynn and I have been homies for a while and it was rad to hang out and catch up at home since we have both been quite nomadic this past year. Stoked to be working on a lot of cool stuff with her talented band in the near future.

  13. Moving Portrait: Nippon (Japan)

Directed, shot, and edited by Erik Rojas.

I can’t express my love for Japan enough. It’s a truly amazing place and I can’t wait to go back. The culture is vibrant, the people are awesome, and the landscapes are jaw-dropping. While I traveled across the island of Honshu (kinda bummed I didn’t make it up to Hokkaido), I shot some video and timelapses and here is the result. Thanks and enjoy! Please watch in HD and if possible with headphones!
